Macziggy

I tried doing this before, but due to moving with the military, gave up in disgust realizing that movers did not care about the work I had put into the models. That was way back. I built a few along the way out of boredom, but they all met the same fate. Now, my roots are firm so off we go. Currently I have F14 and A7 in 1:32 scale, A4, F6F, SB2U-3, and  (3) versions of F7F in 1:48 scale, and a F11 in 1:72 scale complete. I bought a lot of kits from an estate last year to get me going.

I know the feeling, fortunatly i did not make that many moves, but was a nervous time when i did. But fortunatly i was able to keep modelling through most of my time in the army.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I returned to the hobby last year after over 15 years away. A lot has changed in that time, but it has definitely been for the better. I am self teaching/internet learning airbrushing. I don’t know how I ever got along with out one. I have also just stared using acrylics so stand by for questions.

My goal is to build a model of each aircraft used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps  from the beginning to current. I am currently building a Kitty Hawk SH-2G.

I look forward to all the wisdom and tips I will acquire here.
