Thank you Fox for the welcome. I’ve purchased the Sherman Tank and Willy’s Jeep models, so now I’m  looking for the Tiger 1 Tank. I have been reading Antony Beevor’s book on the Ardennes 1944 and looking for a scene I can recreate in a diorama with snow and mud. So much happened during the Battle of the Bulge it’s hard to choose just one event.

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard.

Would love to see pics of your dio. You could show it in a WIP (work in progress) so we could follow you as you build it.

Good luck.

I’m new to Fine Scale Modeler, but not to military armor or ships. I’m starting a new project for the American Legion Centennial which will include the 100-year history of my Post established in 1919 by Spanish-American War and World War 1 veterans and a diorama of an event from the Ardennes offensive in 1944 during The Battle of the Bulge. The diorama will feature a Tamiya M4A3 Sherman tank, a Willys MB Jeep and the formidable German Tiger 1 tank. For members not familiar with the Ardennes it involved more than a million men fighting in harsh winter conditions.
