...and another Aussie...
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, April 2, 2004 4:56 AM
Hi, I'm Andy from Melbourne. I've been lurking around for a few days readin' and learnin' and thought I'd better stand up and say G'day! Just getting back into plastic modelling after a long long absence playing with toy trains Wink [;)]

I generally build small military stuff (towed guns, ACs etc) mostly in 1/72, tho the 'current' project is a 222 in 1/35. I see a couple of 'group builds' that look like my kinda thing - better go sign up! Smile [:)]

Cheers! Andy

May I be the first to welcome you to the FSM forum. You've come to the right place. If you can't get what you're looking for here, you probably won't be able to find it anywhere else.By the way, how many of you Ozzies are there? Aren't you supposed to be out guzzling beers and/or hunting dangerous game like koalas and wallabys?

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

there's not enough of us yet, that's why we're recruiting more! last unoffical count was about 27, give or take ten drunk wandering blokes. We do guzzle beer, but koalas & wallabys arent that dangerous, but theres a proposal to go Croc hunting in the North of Australia - apparently the license fee will be $10,000AUD and you'll only be restricted to shoot one! - so if crocs are dangerous enough for you, come down under!!!!!

Sign - Welcome [#welcome]Sign - Welcome [#welcome]Sign - Welcome [#welcome] Andy and welcome back to modelling. Nice to see another Aussie join us as you might be able to tell by some of the comments our numbers are growing.

Chech out the Aussie modelling thread in the general discussion folder and let yourself be known, an Aussie group build is at present being organised.
Wayne I enjoy getting older, especially when I consider the alternative.

Luke mate, you forgot about the dreaded 'Drop Bears'Evil [}:)]

Sure koalas and wallabies are pretty ferocious, especially when your trying to steal their food, but in a 'one on one' tussle between a croc and a drop bear, the bear wins hands down.
