Hey all, I'm new here!

While I built a couple of models as a kid, I really didn't get into modeling as a hobby until mid 2015 when I started collecting, building, and painting Warhammer miniatures.  I've spent more hours and money than I even want to know about building and painting Warhammer models.

Within the past couple of years, I did move on to building quite a few Bandai models.  Most of those kits were Gundam kits, but I have built a few of their Star Wars kits.

I've been interested in WWII since about 2015.  I would listen to/watch WWII documentaries in the background while building and painting my Warhammer kits.

I'm really interested in model kits of planes, ships, and armor from WWII.  A couple of weeks ago, I finished the assembly of a 1:700 Hobby Boss USS Arizona (not yet painted).  Over the past week or so, I put together the 1:48 Hobby Boss Sherman M4A3.  It is painted but does not have any of the decals put on yet.

So, I'm mainly wanting to get into building WWII scale models (planes, ships, and armor).

Really looking forward to being part of this community!

Thanks

SG

Wayyyy back ,when D & D was popular ( 1982 ) I built every Grenider figure I could get my hand's on . I still have a few laying around, waiting for paint.

Welcome to the Forums SG! Glad to have you aboard.

I've been building models for 72 of my 78 years and my favorites are WWI and WWII planes followed by sailing ships. If you need any help or have any questions, just ask. The members here are very knowledgeable and ready to help out.

Have fun and be sure to post pics of your builds so we can see your work.

Welcome to the forum!  I look forward to seeing your builds.

I see you've built some sci-fi subjects, along with historical.  Have you ever built any Maschinen Krieger kits, too?

Best regards,

Brad
