J,

Welcome and nice job on that USMC Lav 25 Piranha.

Really nice work on the video's.  In focus, with perfect time lapse, and the entire process is explained succinctly.  What's better is the model looks terrific!

Hi and Welcome Sign Jay!

Yeah, it's quite a pain when you're new and have to have your posts checked out first.  After a few posts, you get cleared as a "good" guy Wink, and all will be fine.

Will be checking out your youtube channel in a bit.

Just want to say thank you to everyone for the warm welcome...Didnt know I had to have every single reply checked by mods first so I'll keep it brief... Even when you edit your own post...pretty stringent.

Hi Jay! Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard.

I have built whatever strikes my fancy for the last 72 years of my 78 year life. That is as long as my wallet said OK. My favorites are WWI & WWII planes followed by sailing ships as you can see by my avatar.

I try to do 1 or 2 a month but sometimes don't make it, sometimes I do.

If you have any problems or questions just ask. The members are very knowledgeable and ready to help out.

Hello everyone!

Hello, Fine Scale Modeler community, my name is Jay and I like building scale models (Shocking, I know). I particularly enjoy building 1/35th and 1/72nd scale AFV but am finding myself venturing into different subject matter as time goes on. I started out building models when I was a kid, but found myself obsessed with the hobby again more than 15 years later. I am quickly finding that I am burning not only my free time, but a hole in my wallet :p.

I typically try to build a few kits a month as time allows ( a baby takes up most of my time), and also video my builds for my YouTube channel, which I launched a month ago. I look forward to getting to know this community, seems like a really great place from the little bit I've already read.

Take care!
