Hello everyone! After enjoying the forums for several months and getting back into model ship building I've finally joined the forum. I just recently finished a single piece hull model of the U.S.S United States from Monogram circa 1981 and hope to upload pictures of it soon. Since May of last year I have built Lindberg/Pyro/Lifelike models of the Barbary Pirate, Mayflower, Golden Hind, Half Moon, Bon Homme Richard and the Flying Cloud. While I'm aware of the, umm, historical and strucural inaccuracies of some models I do so enjoy the process of building them and the history behind each ship. I've built almost exclusivly plastic models but I do have a partially finished Scientific Eagle wooden model and two newer HMS Bounty and Santa Maria wooden models I'm looking forward to trying my hand at. My current project is a contemporary Lindberg Brig of War. In a few years I will tackle the Heller 1/100 Victory my fiance Alia bought me for Christmas in 2017. It's been great learing tips from other members and I look forward to participating. Cheers!
