Welcome!
It does get hard to travel with the hobby, but I do seek out hobby shops when out of town.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Welcome to the Forums, Dave!
I also had some of Aurora's "12 O'Clock High" kits--including the nifty one with three B-17's dropping bombs on the target. I remember that there was also a B-25 and B-26, which really didn't have much to do with the 918th Bomb Group.

Hello all!
I've been a "lurker" here for years, figured it was time to actually time to become a member and get some modelling help..Lord knows I need it!
I started modelling as a kid probably close to 50 years ago (still wish I had my Aurora Twelve O" Clock High kits that I destroyed with pellet guns, burning glue, or firecrackers), but got out of it as I grew up. A career change 10 years ago put me on the road 300 days/year and to keep myself out of trouble in the evenings after work (and keep my wife's mind at ease), I picked up modelling once again. I look forward to my "trial" period ending, so I can become an active member of these forums!
