Back for a 2nd Try!
Posted by Allessio77 on Saturday, April 6, 2019 3:46 PM

After a brief pause of 55 years, I thought it would be fun to go back to modeling. The hobby seems to have developed considerably since my last kit.

Anyhow, I am busy buying the tools, paints and supplies and looking at a lot of YouTube vids showing techniques and builds.

I think my first model of this new era was a bit difficult (Eduard - Typhoon MK.LB 1/48), I am still working on it. . But I plan to try a ship, vehicle, and another plane to see which one I really like.

Welcome back.

Eduard was a challenging choice for your first kit back. I love them, but they can be challenging and sometimes a bit frustrating.

Yes, I found the cockpit particularly difficult! And I am not sure when (or why) to use the resin parts in this kit.

Welcome aboard and welcome back to the hobby. Or, I should say, welcome back to the addiction!
