G'day fellas all the way from sunny Australia :p
I used to model plastic airplane kits a long, long time ago. It's been a while as you can tell, and I'm looking to pick up the hobby again. Before, I mainly used brushes for painting but I'm looking to step it up into the airbrushing side of things which is a little daunting as I have ZERO experience in airbrushing. That said, Ive been watching some really nice videos on Youtube which has explained some common themes etc which you need to consider (such as dual action brushes and what to look for in compressors etc)
But Ive still got loads of questions.
It would be nice to especially make contact with some old hands here in Aussie to get some idea of what the local market and products etc are all about - where to get the best prices and what to look out for and the like.
I'm mainly interested in the WW2 era of airplanes, specifically fighters, but I must admit I've dabbled in more modern planes too. Looking to get back into these, but seeing as we go I might even consider doing some armored vehicles as well in the future.
Thats it for now and thanks for reading
Cheers
