Hey Dan (boybuddho) I see that you might have a similar background. Great to meet someone who also enjoys their work. I still say the best job in the world is an astronaut, but I am slightly prejudice. (and envious)

Yes. I got to scan them in but I have some good stuff. USA has been good enough to even give me some drawings of the orbiter and SRBs. Matter of fact I was asked to build a scale replica of the foward avionics compartment of the SRB which houses our Integrated Electronics Assy - the heart of the SRB - Orbiter ascent process.

Dan, I had received today posters and decals on the (dare I say cancelled) Servicing mission 4 for Hubble. These are definitely collectors items. I hope that they can repair it by using robots since they won't allow a manned mission - too risky the big guy says. However, GSFC, says that most of the astronauts who fly hubble missions are willing to go. In addition they need to put the HST in a higher, more accessible orbit. I digress.

Since I work on many of the space programs (Shuttle, HST, Delta II & IV, Space Station, probes, etc. I do get access to some real nice pics Tongue [:P]. Let me know what you might need and I'll see what I can do with my contacts.

Hi everyone. My name is Tony and I have been an avid modeler since my father help me build first one in 1966. Since then, I love to build aircraft, spacecraft and ships - as a break I might build some armor.
I currently run the Quality Systems (Mission Assurance) department for a major defense contractor in New Jersey. I have worked on the real aircraft and spacecraft for over 23 years and it has been a blast to model them as well. I wanted to drop in for a while and now I have taken the plunge. Glad to be a part of this great group.

Yours in Modeling,
Tony
