Hey all!

Call me Mutt, everyone does.

New to the forums here, but certainly an old hat in the hobby!  Just wanted to say a quick hello to you all out there an hopefully learn many new things!

I am living in North Carolina, am 44, never married with no children, an have been modeling on an off since I was about 7.  I cannot recall my first kit, but my second ever was a Revell P-61 Black Widow, long since lost to time, but I've sourced an am currently building the very same kit from so long ago! (Revell 1974 kit!  How ironic!).

I am also, like many of you I am sure, building several kits at once.  Right now, it is the P-61, an M4A3 Sherman 105mm Howitzer tank, an a Jagermeister Porsche 934 which I am at a standstill as of now trying to find an equivalent acryllic colour to the Jagermeister Orange that ISN'T enamel or laquer.  (For health reasons, I tend to stick to acryllics.  Both of my elderly parents live with me an have COPD an other respiratory issues).

I mainly model WWII an Vietnam-era planes, tanks, and support vehicles, but also like to break it up with my favorite cars an trucks of past an present.

When I was first starting as a kid, I used mainly Testors enamel paints an spray-n-pray cans, but since then, my tools are hundreds of paint bottles, a handful of Iwatta an H&S brushes an a selection of needles for each, burned out my share of compressors, an yards of sanding papers, files, masking tapes, you name it.  Nothing out of the ordinary!

Though I am not new to the craft, I'm always learning.  I've found a ton of information on this site an others, things I've never thought of before that, now, seem rather obvious. (Lol).  Perhaps I might have a few things up my sleeve that I can share, an I will certainly be happy to help where I might, thought I am by no means a cover-worthy master.  I like to  think I have a detail-oriented eye, but I am always second-guessing myself for the worse.

By trade I am a nurse an sometimes-carpenter, an my hobbies are of course modeling an computer building/gaming, an reading.  You can find me online as muttb0ne or Wyntre59530 on War Thunder, which, for my first ever tip on these forums, is a FANTASTIC depot for painting an loadout information on WWII an later tanks an planes.  Highly recommend it, an it's a free download.

This post is already far too long, so I'll leave it here, an add info as needed or asked.  I am not shy; maybe a bit brash sometimes (I don't sugar-coat anything or get caught up in PC bs).  Feel free to message me anytime, an I will do all I can to respond!

Until then, may your airbrush never spit, may your Alclad never lift, an may you find that tiny piece off the tree that just disappeared in your carpets!

Paul (Wyntre) Muttb0ne
