Getting back in after LONG break
Posted by Sideshow on Monday, June 10, 2019 9:42 PM

It's been a long time since I've built plastic models. I've been doing RC jets for a while but am just looking for some low stress builds that don't fly and crash! Looking forward to learning lots of new things.

Welcome, Sideshow, this is a great place to hang out and see some really beautifully built models. Any particular subjects of interest for you?

I've been an air traffic ontroller for 26 years. I'm mostly interested in military aircraft that I've worked. Being on the west coast it makes for some interesting subjects. I'm struggling to find some out of print decals for a model I want to give a retiring co worker. He was able to go to NAS Leemore and get a ride in the this F-18F.....

Fightertown made the decals but now I can't find them anywhere....any ideas?

Welcome, Sideshow.  I'm a newbie here too.  FSM is a great place to learn about our hobby as the forum is loaded with friendly and very knowledgeable people who are willing to share their expertise.  I have asked many questions and received courteous and informative replies.
