Greetings! What part of Michigan better peninsula are you from? Spent some time in college up in Houghton and have some friends who still live in the U.P..

Welcome to the Forums Paul! Glad to have you aboard.

I've been building for 72 of my 78 years and build whatever strikes my fancy at the time, and my wallet says OK. Wink Favorites are WWI & WWII planes followed by sailing ships.

Enjoy and don't be afraid to ask questions. That's what we're here for.

Welcome to the forum, Paul!  I suspect that you'll find that there are some better kits available to you today, than when you were a kid.  Airfix has been re-releasing many of their old subjects, with completely new tooling, for example.  And there are a lot of really nice kits in 1/72 from a wide range of manufacturers.

I look forward to seeing your builds!

Best regards,

Brad

Started with models back when I was ten, but then stopped for quite a while. Recently re-started and it feels great. Also brings back many good memories. I build only WW II aircraft in 1/72 and hope that I will improve my skills and get some of my questions answered in this forum and hopefully be able to help someone too.
