Hello, good evening from the UK

I have come across this site whilst looking for information on dioramas. I am totally few to modelling, miniatures and painting at a small scale. I have a pretty good creative eye. I need all the help I can get. please let me know if I need to direct my next post to the diorama section as I need as much advice as possible. I am very unwell and also look after a poorly mum and partner therefore times are not very happy at the moment. I am looking to get into something that not only i can escape into, feed my creative thirst but if I get good enough I can start to look at selling pieces. I have lots of ideas, mostly obscure. and hopefully I might get to know some people too. I am very lonely so I hope that this page will welcome me and understand my reasons for wanting to start a new hobby, from scratch, with little to no idea and very little money. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon

Ailing Mum and partner. Nuthin new there. That's why you have places like this to come to. We welcome you with open arms. Dios can be fun. I have only done two with models, but back in the day they both got the gold. That's not why I build anything though.

I build to share. Why? Well, I find that it's relaxing. Let's me get my thoughts in order and mellows what are sometimes very miserable days. Health wise,I ain't no winner. Modeling gives that kick to get through each and every day I do it.
