Retired Navy diver and author of IN REPOSE - Diving on the USS Arizona with the National Park Service. I've got lots of been there, done that stuff that I'm more than happy to share. The more you know about your subject, the better the model can be. Now that said, I will be begging for technique help myself as I've not built much in a few years. So, as they say in the Blue Angels; "I'm just glad to be here."

"Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, okay?"

Welcome from the wet side of the state.

Most any questions, someone here can answer, and we are pretty good at picking brains as well.

Welcome to the forum!  Did you find the build thread about the Arizona memorial yet?

Best regards,

Brad

Brian,  It's great to see you here on FSM.  Tracy White had great things to say about your book.

We will most certainly be talking about Ships&Subs with you.

After all you,“ Dive the World Over”.

  Thanks for being here.

Well, thank you all, and yes, I found the ARIZONA Memorial build, in fact that is why I registered. As for Tracy, that guy is awesome and probably the best research 'digger' I know.

Now, if somebody would 'esplane Lucy' how to post pics on this site, I would greatly appreciate it. It seems that every forum has its on method; so how does we do it here?

Have to host them on a 3rd party site, ie. Imageshack, PB, etc.  Then you can copy/paste to here, using the mountain icon (4th to the right of the scissors) in the post reply section.

Several tutorials for the various hosting sites in the bottom section of the forums.
