I just read your blog. I lived in a very small hamlet, just 12 miles from Bury St. Edmunds. Although Bury is in Norfolk, we lived in Suffolk, our post address was "Near Diss, Norfolk", but where we were was actually in Suffolk. My father was in the Royal Air Force as a chef and a Mechanic, 1st Class, served there till he was demobed, then worked at a factory that manufactired farming aquipment. I know this has nothing to do with the forum as suchm but just like to chat to fellow countymen. Take care, nice to have 'met' you.
