Cutty Sark Rigging diagrams
Posted by high tide on Saturday, January 11, 2020 7:38 AM

Hello

New member here.

I need help in locating and purchasing rigging plans for 1/96 scale model of Cutty Sark.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you with us.

If you ask your question in the "Ships" section of the Forums you will probably get more answers than you need. The guys there are very knowledgeable and ready to help.

Good luck. Looking forward to seeing your work.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

Certainly you'll get a copy from someone. Those show a really simplified rig.

I'd go a step further and get the set of actual rigging drawings. Yos can buy the ones drawn by George Campbell from the museum online store, hard copies mailed to you.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

I contacted the Museum an they told me that the total cost of the sail and rigging plans would be around $108.00. The ship model costs less than that.
