Try contacting Tamiya customer service to get a replacement. I’ve always had top notch results from them in the past.

Hello!

Welcome to the forums! Same thing happened to me when I was building my M48A3 - but there were no practical 3D printers then... What I did - I have cast an extra wheel in resin using one of the wheels I had as a master.

If you want to go the 3D print route, I'd suggest looking up shapeways.com, contacting a seller of Sherman road wheels (they are many of them) and asking for the .stl - that should do the trick. Hope it helps, have a nice day

Paweł

New To Modeling Looking for .STL help
Posted by Techteach88 on Monday, January 20, 2020 12:15 PM

Hey Guys!

I am getting back into modeling as an adult since doing this as a kid. I love any WWII Vehicles. My first realy project has been the Tamiya 1/35 Easy Eight. I've taken some liberties. Subbed in the Academy M2, and added some stowage and an extra M1919 to match some source photos i've been looking at.

I've Torn my basment apart, but a HVSS Roadwheel went missing. I know can find parts online, but can anyone point me in the 3D printing .stl direction?

Thanks!
