Hi from Bristol, UK
Posted by scale_army on Friday, January 24, 2020 10:09 AM

Hello everyone. I have been a lurker for a while but I signed up today.

My name is Dave and I live in Bristol, UK. I started building last summer after not touching a kit for 20 years. In that time is has gone from casual weekend build to full on obsession. My background is in visual arts. I run a design and animation studio by day.

Still finding my feet but I am loving 1/35 armour at the moment.

Following a recent trip to Bovington Tank Museum, I currently have a Meng British Heavy Tank Mk.V Male on the bench. It is going to be in a maintenace diorama with a sponson removed so we can see all that lovely interior detail. I also built a trolley for the sponson (also on display at the museum) that will also be in the diorama with four WW1 figures.

Glad to join the community.
