Hey All, just getting back into the modelling scene, after about a decade of a reprieve (life and all just didnt let me have the time I wanted).
Primarily Modern Era Armor military models, with a couple aircraft thrown in the mix, and the USS Nimitz once when I was about 13.
First "good" build with weathering and time taken into build was my Academy M1A1 from 2003 Iraqi Freedom. Just bought the Academy M1A2 Tusk II since its in my comfort zone, and wanna ease myself in a bit.
Only ever really used enamel paints, but might move over to acrylic since enamel is getting harder to find locally by me, but not liking the idea of priming. We'll see how it goes.
My uncle does scratch build WW era armor models, which look amazing. But I just don't think I'll ever have that sort of dedication.
