And a big thanks to all of you, for the warm welcome!! I am planning to start my first wreck build after I get back from the lake tomorrow. Itbis the Mayflower from the Lindberg line in 1:250 scale. I picked up material for the base this morning after work. Just a tad bit excited to get it going! Thanks again to everyone! DW

Welcome dude!  I'm not a diver but I'd imagine you'd want this awesome hammerhead kit.  Member named sharknuts posted his and a couple of us went out and bought the same.

This one's mine - what a great kit

Plus the guy is doing more aquatic life.

Nice looking hammerhead!! I am kind of an oddity, I have been told. While I certainly appreciate sea life, it just doesn't blow my hair back. Shipwrecks, mines, and caves really get me going though!

Oho!

You'rs gonna try to dive Great lakes Wrecks? Don't miss the Edmund Fitzgerald or some of the Sailing Schooners close to shore!

I would love to dive the Fitzgerald! But last I knew diving was restricted. And, at 530 feet deep, that is a hypoxic trimix (helium) dive and beyond my current capabilities.

I do have some Schooners on my radar, though!

Good afternoon.

New member here from Missouri. As seems to be a recurring theme, I have built models off and on since I was a kid. Although not with anything near the skill level that I see in the posts here!

I am an active scuba diver, which has led me back to this hobby that I have missed a great deal. I will be attempting to recreate some of the dive sites that I visit. Am currently planning my first (of many, hopefully) trip to the Great Lakes to visit some of their shipwrecks.

It amazes me how far this hobby has come in the 40 years or so since I built my first model. A huge thank you to everyone here. I have learned a lot already, and hope to be able to contribute, at some point.
