Unlike some social media sites, this website requires that an image you wish to post most reside on a web-accessible service (photobucket, postimage, fotoki, Imgur, google image, etc).  I had used photobucket, now use postimage.

Once uploaded to the service obtain the URL (address) of the image - the http-thing.   Copy the address.

Using the FineScale posting dialog click the image icon and paste the address which you just copied.   Add the image.   You may add multiple images by advancing the cursor and repeating the process.   Complete the post dialog by clicking the submit button.

I'm using Imageshack to host photos that I want to link here.  They make it really easy in the menu for each individual photo for you to choose what kind of URL you want to create (Select "Forum" to get a UBB code link that you can just copy and paste into the body of your post), and gives you other choices for what you're posting, such as resolution and whether or not you want to post it as a thumbnail so users here can click on a small picture and have it bring up a full-size picture in another browser tab.  I like using thumbnails because they link to photos that are large enough to be able to see detail in, while at the same time, not using up a lot of space on the forum.  It used to be free, but now its a painless $3.99 a month and I have no problem paying a reasonable fee for a service someone is providing to me.

You might also want to browse the Forum Technical Assistance forum a little further down the Index page.  You'll find a lot of good suggestions there.
