Hi guys,
after having about 6-7 years away from armour modelling I'm finally right back into it. I've got a kit on the way and am about to get myself a new little airbrush set up and paints etc.
I'm not sure who is the best place to buy Ak products and paints from in the UK anymor? kits have got scarily expensive.
In another week I hope to have a WIP on the bench! A Tamiya Jagdpanzer Marder I coming from my good friend Andy Leffler in Louisian.
I'm starting over from scratch really-my paints and stash went ages ago but thank god I still have my tool kit!
I just wanted to say hi-I used to live on this site back in the day!

Welcome back, got a few here from your side of the pond, and at least one is fond of armor, but does a/c and the occasional floaty thing. He'll probably pop in and get you some info on where to buy stuff.
Welcome back Ben, its been a while.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Good evening Ben,
Nice to see you have returned to this site, I am completely new joined a week or so ago, after having had a break from modeling for approximately 30 odd years ( how flaming scary is that).
Types of models well bit of an open book at the moment but starting off where where I left modeling when I was about 19 with a kit I started but didn't finish ( a Peterbilt Black widow).
Cheers AB88
Hi Ben! Welcome back!

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.
Thanks guys,
im dead keen on getting stuck in again, the kit I have coming is stunning....I'm planning on a panzer grey base coat with whitewash. It should be here within the next week or so?
I'm selling one of my rifles which is what I gave up my modelling to concentrate on but my knee and back are plalying up so badly I'm keeping a rifle, the one I see will pay for a basic compressor and some paints and washes and help get some other bills sorted.
I must try and find somewhere Uk based to get new paints from. My local shop is now gone
can I post images on here or is it all still that awful photobucket stuff?

Need to put on a third party site, like Imageshak, flicker, PB or such. Some free, some have varing fees. Once you find one, several here can assist.
imgur is free
Thanks,
John
G'day Ben. Apparently you have been here before, before my time. But good to 'meet' you and look forward to your builds.

HinksyThanks, Which ones are free? I can’t afford to be paying for photo hosting at the minute
Hello, Ben, and welcome! I use imgbb - no frills, but it works, it's easy to use, and it's free. I look forward to seeing your builds.
