Hi AJ! Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard.

Do Not, I repeat, Do Not worry about annoying us with questions. That's what we're here for. The members are very knowledgeable and ready to help out with any questions/problems. Just go to the section of the Forums that deals with what you're building and ask away.

There is only one slight problem. A few of us are (like me), shall we say, up there in years and it might take us a while to remember the answer, but we will remember and give it to you. Wink

Stay Safe.

PS - I build mainly WWI & WWII planes followed by sailing ships but I also build anything else that I see and like and the wallet says OK.

 Main WIP:

On the Bench: Artesania Latina  (aka) Artists in the Latrine 1/75 Bluenose II

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

Welcome Welcome Sign aboard.

Far from being annoyed with questions...you may find yourself annoyed at the number of (and sometimes conflicting) answers you get to a given question...and the possible long-windedness of the replies.

For most of us, the only thing we like more than modeling is...talking about modeling.

Consider yourself warned. Big Smile

Hello Gentlemen,

Thank you very much for the assurance about annoying questions.

I will be asking than.

First question, is that OK to ask in the thread I created about Trumpeter SU-27 build or I have to find adequate forum for the question?

Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker B Trumpeter Scale 1:32 - FineScale Modeler - Essential magazine for scale model builders, model kit reviews, how-to scale modeling, and scale modeling products

My guess would be that if I post in specific thread, there would be a better chance for getting an answer. Big Smile

Why I can not diplay the link in the reply?

This sentence above should be a link.

Definitely go with the thead you have already started. 'Project' comments, questions etc. are generally better under that single titled thread.

More general questions about techniques, tools or products will generally get more 'looks' under those general categories, so better chance of more (or more useful) answers.

Thank you, Greg!!!

One thing that bothers me, I can not make links and to show pictures I can not upload them but have the linked from external source (cloud storage).

I wonder if there is a way around it.

I don't have any cloud experience, but most hosting sites have pretty easy-to-find links for posting photos into forums or social media. Look for 'share' or a share icon. (It's a little different for each site, so it's hard to give exact instructions.)

For pasting it into your thread here, hit the insert/edit media icon in the toolbox above...the little landscape picture. Just copying the link and pasting it raw into the thread body usually won't work, it'll just 'think' it's text.

And here's the link to your other thread...though, as sometimes happens, I can't get the 'active' link to take.:

You'll find this forum's software is pretty dodgy. It doesn't always work and play well with others....Embarrassed

@gregbale

Thank you, Greg for both answers.

I will sure find something, one friend already answer in my SU-27 thread.

Yes, link shows as link but does not open anything, might be Windows 12 thing as well.

Cheers, AJ Wink

A little late but welcome from Orlando.  Where are you in Jersey?
