Lapsed Returnee
Posted by Ramon on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 7:02 AM

Hi,

I was a member on here around 2014 - username of 'TUG'.  Been distracted for many reasons but have still been modelling off and on. There's lots of choice out there as far as forums are concerned and though I visit some I'm afraid I usually lurk for the most part. A recent resurgence of main interest in plastic modelling however has lead to going back to where it all began - on here.

Hope to have something to post about in due course

Thanks for the welcome guys - it's been a while I know but hope to be around much longer this time - age permitting Wink

Currently, in the main, I have a 1/32 Tamiya US Navy Phantom on the go but took a break to finish off a long languishing Tiger 1 for our September club comp night. Well into it before realising I can't make that night! I'll pop some pics up as soon as it's done

Welcome back, Ramon!  I look forward to seeing what you decide to build.

Best regards,

Brad

Thanks Brad, Not sure whats likely to be the next new build but probably a 1/32 jet.

I'd like to finish the Phantom before that happens though.

Sounds like you've come back to the hobby with a Shelf of Doom already established!  Big Smile

Yes, there are 'one or two' waiting for the right moment to leave the SoD.  A long languishing 1/48 Israeli F15 for a start that may never get the opportunity

Lot's on this week but back soon with some pics

Welcome back Ramon. This is the best site that I have found. Start posting and putting up pictures of your builds. There are some impressive people here.

Thanks 'lurch'.

I do intend to do that in coming days just a bit busy at home at the moment but I will do so as soon as I can
