Howdy all!
Posted by KaptKrunch on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 5:09 PM

Grew up building anything I could get my hands on. Grew up and life happened. Finally made it back to my childhood! Building my first model in 20 years, and LOVING it! Glad to see Fine Scale Modeler still in action. Look forward to seeing ya'lls work and getting some inspiration to achieve more. Thanks!

Welcome back to the hobby and welcome to the forum, Kap'n!

What sort of subjects do you like to build?

I look forward to seeing you work!

Best regards,

Brad

Hey ya!

Sorry for the delayed response, we finally finished our house and are in the process of moving out of our old shack, lol.

I have always been interested in building anything I could get my hands on. Alot of times when I was a kid it was whatever was on the clearance rack at TG&Y. Didnt really matter I just needed something to dry brush :)

Currently I am kind of doing the same thing, picking things up at the LHS on the clearance bin, missing parts of course. First couple have been planes.

I plan on focusing on armor once I get back into the swing of things. Also trying to get a stock of paints and materials built up. All my testors enamels are dried out, I do have a few Tamiya paints that survived the 20 year shelf stay.

Current model in the paint booth is a Tamiya Panther, the old one.
