I've been a model builder from way back in my early teen's. I've collected several dozen models over the years but haven't taken the time to build them and now I am back and want to get them done. Grand aspirations and a lot less time....the bane of everyone's existence. Anyway looking forward to seeing great models and reading as much as possible to learn new tricks.

Hi Will! Welcome to the Forums and welcome back to the hobby.

I've been building models for 77 of my 83 years. Favorites are WWI & WWII planes followed by sailing ships. Look forward to seeing your work.

Don't be afraid to ask for help with any questions/problems. That's what we're here for.

Stay safe.

Thanks everyone. So far this is what I have sitting around just collecting dust and in order of more dust vs less dust. Only a couple of them are in progress and once I get the second F-19 listed below I hope to make a "Cold War gone hot" pre-mission prep hangar aka Red Storm Rising diorama for those two fighters.

1 x Testors 1:48 F-19 Stealth Fighter (missing a mission canopy, can anyone help???)

1 x Accurate Miniatures 1/48 A-36 Apache

1 x Revell 1:48 Me-410B-2/U4

1 x Minicraft 1:144 AC-130H

1 x MPC 1:72 F-14 Tomcat

1 x Revell 1:48 F-14A Tomcat

1 x Revell 1:72 F4U-1A Corsair

2 x Tamiya 1:48 J2M3 Raiden - No clue how I ended up buying two of them, my CTE/CRS (can't remember s***) must have kicked in between buying one and then the other

1 x Tamiya 1:35 JGSDF LAV (working on this one now)

1 x Testors 1:48 F-19 Stealth Fighter (just bought this one to see if I can make a new mission canopy for the older one that is just missing that part.)

I'm an aviation nut and in the past mostly built WW2 US Navy aircraft. Although now I would expand that to just about anything that could conceivably fly or be considered to fly. To add to my now expanding aviation kit collection I just bought the Testors Italeri 1:48 #502 Mig 37B Ferret Soviet Stealth Fighther kit that Testors released in either 1987 or 1988 as a follow up to the Testors 1:48 F-19 kit from 1986.

Hi Will, I'm also back to the hobby after a long absence.  For me the greatest thing is the wealth of information and great products, compared to 40 years ago.  There are many expereinced model makers in this forum who will give you amazing advice and tips.  I'm not to the level of the great masters here, but I am learning much froom them.  I'm looking forward to seeing your builds!
