Hi all, have recent joined this forum as I'm about to return to scale modelling in a big way after way too many years away from it.
I started building kits 48+yrs ago as a kid. Then after joining the military I gave up on it due to moves, space, marriage, family etc. All the usual detractors! But now that I'm retired and we'll settled.
Over the past 40yrs I've amassed a sizeable collection of kits & it's long past due that I did something about that eh!
My first major project is a diorama depicting my EOD team, Callsign Wallaby 2, & our Bushmaster PMV. I've managed to get the 1/35 PMV kits, several Meng EOD operator kits, Talon RPV & upgrades for the vehicle.
Now I'm just waiting on my youngest & his partner to move out of the cottage into their new home. Once they're out I can set up my hobby space again.
Looking forward to interaction with you all as I'll be asking for advice along the way.
