Do a browser search and you will get the answer. Basic is post your image to a third party site and post link here. Link will show up as the image itself.

Ok that's what I thought. I was active on this forum a few years ago. Really liked it but the procedure to add images to my posts it's like a pain in the ass. I don't know why Fine Scale Modeler keep the same procedure. On a lot of other forums, you just have to click a button, choose your pictures and voilà.

Those forums probably let you upload a file, and so, they wind up storing it.  Most forums do not, because storage costs money.  The forums I belong all use linking-you store the image somewhere, and insert a link to that location.

Linking is simple, really. I just get the link for my images at the host site-I use Postimage-and paste the link into my posts.  I don't bother with the Insert>Insert Image feature here in the Editor-it's more clicks than linking.

There are plenty of places where we can store images free of charge, and there are people who link from Google accounts or similar accounts.  The only issue there is one of security and access, that people who view their images might not be able to, depending on how the member who owns the photo has configured his account.

If you scroll further down the forum contents, you'll find the Forum How-To section and you can find more details there about the process.

The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.
