                        Just wanted to say a quick "hello" to all . I am just getting back into some modelling projects, mostly automotive fieldf. Have been looking around at a few websites searching for articles on different techniques.. painting, decalin application etc as well as general referance material/articles.
                        Anyhow, thought this would be great place to get started and maybe get some URL's and info that has been helpful to others. If you've got any suggestions or know of some really good reads, please feel free to point me in the general direction, it'd be most appreciated. TIA

                        hi jdm99, fairly new to this site but just to say modelling in one field works well for me also, a contrast to younger days when any box of any subject would happly be glued to the table !, i now source aircraft reference and kits in many ways and places which adds to the fun, good luck with the projects,

                        All the info you want is likely to be found here... just drop a query at any of the specific forums and you'd get answers quite quickly.... You may try the IPMS stockholm website too... they too have a great range of topics...... Anyway, Enjoy your stay here...

                        Welcome to the FSM community modeling forum(s). I think you will quickly find that we are a very diverse and very friendly group of modelers.

                        Nice to see another fellow automotive modeler come aboard.

                        I really can't call myself just an automotive modeler, in checking my workbench I find 2 automotive projects (one is the current build for the CBP ... the Community Building Project ... a 1/24 scale Ferrari 360 spider, please see this thread under the General Modeling Discussion elsewhere in these forums), and two aircraft projects underway.
