Greetings from a Newbie
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, May 10, 2004 7:45 AM
Hey folks!!

I'm a fan of modeling WWII armor and am loving this magazine. It's quite helpful. I confess to building many models when younger and not having a clue as to how to paint etc.

I currently have:

1/25th Academy JagdPanther - needs to be painted
1/35th Tamiya Tiger I - needs to be painted
1/35th Stuart - needs to be painted

Notice a trend?

Since I have an M3 Lee lined up to be put together, I'd like to paint the others first. Any tips? The Allied tanks seem much easier i.e. OD green plus little details.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] Allied tanks are easier, but with a 1/25 scale JagdPanther (an already big tank despite the scale) it shouldn't be too much of a problem. The armor forum is the to go. Welcome. Oh, by the way, you will hear alot about "the dark side"

Well, all I can say is "Wow!"

I am amazed that I would be so thoroughly welcomed. I was expecting an apathetic hurling of invectives.

Thanks you all.

I'd like to thank all the little people I had to step on to get here.
