I just joined this forum today and figured I'd stop in and say "howdy!"

I put up a post in the Aircraft forum about an F-22 Raptor build I'm doing currently. Hopefully some of you can take a look at my work and give me some tips/tricks/pointers, too!

Best,

Glenn

Hey Glenn!

Welcome from another Southern California model builder. I'm up in Rowland Heights in Los Angeles County, and my IPMS club meets in Buena Park. Saw the F-22, looking great! Glad to have you join us!

Thanks, everyone! I live in the San Fernando Valley area. North Hills, to be specific. I'm right near the 405/118 freeway interchange.

Duke,

I'm not sure how close I am to Rowland Heights/Buena Park area. I'd consider coming to an IPMS meet, though. Feel free to PM the details. My schedule from month to month is pretty unpredictable, but if the meeting is on a weeknight (and the Dodgers aren't in town) I might be able to make it.

Hey Glenn! I went looking for a IM system or E-mail address in your profile but didn't see one. Feel free to click on my post and E-mail me with your address so I can tell you more of our club. We used to have another member come from North Hills area to our club, he passed away recently.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Glenn,
Welcome aboard. This is a great place to discuss and improve on our skills. I lvoe what you did to your office. Hey I'm re-building (there was a crash) a 1:1 scale cockpit , using an existing "Hollywood" prop for the area youth as an instructional tool to help when I give classes in atmospheric and space flight. Take a look later and let me know what you think. Its in my model pages under "FULL SCALE". Again hello from PA.
The prop was used in the film "Firefox" with Clint Eastwood.
