Greetings from Scotland
Posted by Colin Russell on Monday, May 24, 2004 11:29 AM
New member - just signed in after seeing the advance photos from the Scottish Nationals held in April 2004. Lo and behold - two of my models are there! It was a great show and the Aberdeen Modellers Society, Scotland, are most grateful for FSM taking the time to come across the pond to see what we can offer in Scotland. There were some great models there and the show is always popular - the largest UK show after the Nationals.
I've been building for more years than I will admit to here and my main interest is aviation, but regularly dabble in other areas as well.
One of the photos shows my rendition of the Trumpeter Bear in 1/72. A much-hyped model but do be prepared to spent much time getting it right. Any questions and I'll try and answer them.
Great site - I'll be back!

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] Colin! Glad you found some familiar items in the IPMS Scottish Nationals gallery. We've got a ton of photos from the show, so be prepared to see more in GSM and future FSMs.
