Good to see you on board yw18mc. Welcome to world of modelling - a hobby where excessive beer just enhances your creativity. You start out building an aircraft but when you wake up in the morning you not only have a hangover but your aircraft resembles a tank!

Have fun!

yw18mc, welcome to FSM and the forums. Only 60 kits? With some of the gang around here, that makes you an amateur :) Glad to have you on board. Looking forward to your posts. Have fun!

new guy reply to woody from yw18mc
Posted by yw18mc on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 7:20 PM
[got your reply woody, thanks for the yell back. that means i must be doing something right. i'm an old vietnam vet who is a little thick between the brain housing group, but i'm trainable. it's folks like yourself that make it possible for guys like me to see the world in another light. i've been modelling on and off for over 35yrs. it's my therapy as my wife says. i'll tell you that i really do find tremendous enjoyment in the hobby, and i'm guilty of having some fifty or sixty kits hidden throughout my domicile. of course i plan to build each and everyone of them. the wife can't understand why i need to purchase even more. i tell her my doctor orders it. anyhow i look forward to getting to know how the forum works better, and of taking advantage of what i know must be some fantastic talent out there. as we in the corps say, semper fi. look forward to future talks.]
