trying to clean up my posts. there is no icon for delete on this post. i'm confused as to how to delete it. can anyone steer me straight?

Best to use the "Testing Forum" until you get the hang of it.

Hmmmm. Interesting. I never realized this: You can usually delete your own posts, but it appears that if you originate your own topic and other users respond to it, you no longer have privileges for deleting that first post. I've deleted your other "test" post and I've moved your successful test to the Testing Forum: http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21645

Most forum software is that way. You can delete a post that you originate until someone responds to it. After it has been responded to only the moderators / admins can delete it.

thanks, lawrence, got your reply. i have so much to learn about computers. seems it is taking more of my quality time then model building. just when i thought i was showing promise!! as a model builder. thanks again, i'm sure you'll see more of me. great job you guys are doing at kalmbach, pass to the rest of the staff. mike
