New to the forum that is. I'm 53 yrs. old and been modelling since a kid. Today I model exclusively 1-87 scale (yeah that's right, the real little stuff). I will model anything from sports cars to heavy haulers and will work in any medium from plastic and resin to pewter. I also do dioramas. For a look at what I've done recently go to :

http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/stryper50

and look under the "1-87" folder.
I look forward to leeching lots of info from you folks and will occasionally rant on the subject of modelling. Don't expect anything in the way of advice on women or making money.

Hello Chester, Welcome to the forum. Your models are very nice indeed but I also liked your woodwork. That cherry side table was beautiful. Shaker design?

To all that have taken the time to look at my efforts and for all the kind words, Many thanks. I feel truly welcomed. To those that didn't bother to look or didn't bother to comment: may your glue dry before parts are assembled. jk! ;)
