Hey There, Hi there...

Hi all,

Where to start...

I got my start in modelling as a kid (early 1970s) when I discovered I could paint my plastic soldiers (you know the soft plastic kind you buy by the bagfull at the toy store).

Since then I've been an on and off again modeller but am really trying now to stay in ON mode. I dabble a bit in air, armor, and auto with my favorite of these being self propelled guns. I suppose I'm an average modeller at best in these standard catagories but I am very good at small scale (1/35 and smaller) figure painting and making buildings from scratch household materials, I've won lots of local competitions over the years for my figure painting.

Unfortunatlly I lost most of my figures in a move a few years ago (I used to have many hundred) but not to fear because I still have lots of kits to keep me busy, most of which I got from my dad's collection before he died (many of the kits I have are older than I am).

Anyway, enough about me. ;) I hope to read and post lots now that I know this place exists. Hopefully I can learn lots from you all while at the same time maybe giving a little of my experience back to the community.

TTFN, Michel

Welcome to FSM Michel....I do hope you'll be able to stay in ON mode and there's certainly enough to keep your interests high in the forums here. I look forward to your posts.
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert
