Just wanted to say hello. A bit late posting to this area since I've already hit a couple of the other areas. But it's better late than never, I guess.
I've been building models off and on since the late '50s. More off than on lately because the cost of kits seems to be getting higher and ridiculously higher. Of course, with the increase in price comes an increase in quality and detail too. But, I can remember when the cost of an AMT car kit was $1.49. And that was for a three-in-one kit. Which they don't even make anymore, much less the two cars in one box. My favorite was the blown '41 Willys dragster and the '32 Ford Sedan custom.
Anyway, I just wanted to say I'm glad a friend referred me to this forum and if I can ever be of assistance, let me know.
