Hello modelers:
Posted by jetmech on Saturday, July 10, 2004 12:45 AM
I've been building & collecting model aircraft since the mid 1950s. As you may have guessed I'm an AMT (new name for A&P mechanic) for FedEx. I've been workiing on aircraft sinc I was in the navy in the late 1960's. I was in VP-50 working on SP-5B Marlin & the P-3A Orion. My main interests are U.S. Navy aircraft, especially the more obscure ones and the Luftwaffe. I'm especially intersted in foreign aircraft in Luftwaffe service. I'll have lots of questions in the future. I hope you can help.

jetmech,

Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you with us. Were you ever stationed near Chincoteague NAS where the P2Vs used to work at Wallops Island?
