Welcome Will from another Newbie. I had to chuckle when you said you had gotten out of the habit for a while...how does 20 years grab ya! I was an avid hobbyist from the time I was around 7, up intil I was around your age ...or there abouts. Then this little phenomenon called life intervened...not to mention discovery of "Woman", now sitting back comfortably in my easy chair and rediscovering something which was lost (yet I didn't realize it was what I had been missing.) Anyway, let me know if you find any gems on this site...and i will do the same for you, Huck.Approve [^]Approve [^]

Welcome aboard, Will. You seem to have some wide-ranging interests. This is a good place to exchange ideas and tips and develop those modeling skills of yours. I look forward to hearing much more from you!

My name is Will Combs and I live on the east coast of central Florida; I'm a fellow FSM reader who enjoys modeling. My first model was a Revell SR-71 that I just snapped together, and that was like 13 years ago. I'm 18 now, for reference. I didn't model anything for a long time but a few years ago started up again with a Revell 1999 Mustang Cobra. It turned out nice, but that has been my only car model to date - I am an avid lover of World War II vehicles. I started modeling planes and through my various research projects have fallen for WWII models. I am currently making finishing touches on a P-51D and getting started on a a P-38J, and want to model a Me-109 E or G as my final (masterpiece) aircraft before getting into some tank projects after that. Who am I kidding, I'll continue modeling aircraft.
Anyway, yeah, this is me! I hope to be an active contributor here in the forums ... the people here seem great and friendly and very knowledgeable, and I will certainly do my best to help out where I can as they have for me.
