Posted by Anonymous on Monday, August 2, 2004 4:54 AM
Hi to all , I have been hanging around reading all the good idea's that you all come up with , and the pictures that you post are Thumbs Up [tup]excellent , I have been modeling for around a year now , so a bit of an amateur here..
I've built several 1/700 battleship and some WII aircraft and just about finished the Western Star Constullation..
I lived in the nth west for 17 years and then moved to Perth .
I building a couple of models in that time but they didn't last long..
I don't know what too concentrate on yet .I think I'll try some armour next what do you guys suggest..

thanks mike

Howdy, Mike! Welcome to FSM!
Armor, you say? Hmmm...how about a Tiger I or II? T-34? T-55? T-62? T-64? T-72? T-80? T-90? Sherman? Panzerkampfwagen I or II or III or IV? Panther? BMP-1 or 2 or 3? JS-1 or 2? M-41? M-46? M-47? M-48? M-60? Abrams? Matilda? Churchill? Cromwell? Centaur? Centurion? Chieftain? Challenger 1 or 2? M13-40? Chi-ha? Type 61, 74, or 90? Somua S-35? AMX-30? Le Clerc?
There's plenty of 'em out there! Big Smile [:D]

I'd recommend having a look around some armor reference sites and seeing what strikes your fancy. Then, you can get a ton of opinions concerning which is the best kit right here at good ol' FSM.

See ya in the forums!Smile [:)]
