Greetings!!

Just thought I'd introduce myself, now that I've spent the last couple of weeks reading all I can here at this site & forums.

I'm going on 30 , and have been modeling off and on since I was 8 years old. When I was a kid, I mostly did cars. As I grew older and learned to appreciate aircraft, I moved into that genre. I have built maybe 30 or so models altogether; none of which were very detailed. Back in 1999, when I was in England, I built a Tamiya P-47D and decided to kick in some drybrushing and washing... and, well, I got hooked into fine detail. I've only done a few models since that one, so I'm still learning the fine intricacies of fine detailing.

Well, I'm in the US Air Force, and am in Texas away from home doing some crosstraining into F-16 Avionics. I'll be here until August, so I decided to pick up modeling again. I'm finishing up a 1/72 Italieri CV-22, and my next project is Tamiya's T-34/76 ChTZ 1943. I'm going to spend the next three months on it, and am planning on doing a small diorama to go with it; probably a street/ruin in Stalingrad, circa spring, 1943.
