I live in North-Central Indiana and there are some shops around, you just have to be willing to look. Take heart ChemMan, no hiatus lasts forever. Keep in touch.

That's cool! Cool [8D]
You will be near Badger Airbrush Co then as they are in Franklin Park, IL, which is near Chicago.

Thanks all. I'll be checking in for sure as access permits.

MikeV - I'm moving to NW Indiana, near Chicago. I hope there is a good club up there, as well as some hobby shops.

This forum has some great members, and I have learned a lot. I would like to thank FSM for sponsoring it.

Goodbye for now.

I don't know under which topic to post this, but this seemed like the closest match. I guess you could call this is a deintroduction.

The bad news is that I am entering a new phase of life and moving a long way away, so I am saying goodbye to the forum for now - at least for the most part. Unfortunately, I will also be saying goodbye to building for some time as well. Hopefully, sometime late in winter or early in the spring I will be unpacked and unstressed enough to start building again.

The last few months have been tough for model building as business has taken precedence over my hobby. Today I have pack all my models, tools, paint, etc, so they can be put in storage while we sell our house. Somehow the wife thinks that closets full of models and a table full of tools doesn't add to the house value.

The good news is that after my relocation I may(?) have more time for model building.

Thanks to everyone here who gave me tips and support. I'm sorry that I won't be able to complete the group builds that I started before this all came up.

Over and out.
