Hi everyone in the modeling family!

Hi!

I have been modeling for about twelve years now. I started with snap-together kits when I was eight. Now I build some 1/24 cars and various scale ships, but my main interest is 1/72 scale aircraft. I am just starting into 1/35 armor, and am really enjoying the quality of Tamiya's kits. I earned my private pilot's license about three months ago, so I am currently working on a 1/48 scale model of the plane I first soloed and took my checkride in- a Cessna 152. I am also in the middle of several other projects- Tamiya's 1/35 amphibious jeep, the 1/72 XB-35, and a custom hotrod based on the Prowler, but with fenders from a '34 Ford.

Thanks for the welcome, shermanfreak. A friend gave me Dragon's M-50 Super Sherman kit last summer, but since I had not previously built any armor, I figured I should do a few smaller armor kits before tackling it. So I am working on the Tamiya's amphibious jeep for now. I am really enjoying building it and am looking forward to doing a lot in armor. I'll post a pic of the Jeep when I get it finished.

God Bless

Alright ..... see you in the Armour Forum Kevin (wingnut) (parkerm). The little amphib Jeep is a good kit to learn some of the basics on. Good safe start before tackling DML's indy tracks.
