A Finn. -Huh?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, May 12, 2003 1:52 PM
Hello all,
I'm from Finland, far north of Europe. I just came back to modeling after a few years. Back then I was just a little boy and seldom got any models truly finished, only assembled.

Now, I'm building the A6M5 Zero-Sen by Revell (I don't have enough money for a Tamiya). It looks it's going to be my best one yet and I'm working on some subtle weathering too. What makes my model interesting is that I don't use the regular green-grey paint model, but a green-orange.

The paint is based on a training version of an A6M2 model. Nobody knows for sure whether or not this orange-bottomed paint model was ever used on an A6M5.

I'll post up some pics as soon as it's finished.

If I understand this correctly you are doing the right right thing for a trainer version of the A6M5.
P.S. I have an article about this somewhere in this pile of aviaton magazinesBig Smile [:D]
