Welcome to the FSM Forums Sign - Welcome [#welcome]. My father came to the US from Wales, I own a Welsh Corgi, Ian Woosnam is one of my favorite pro golfers & I build mostly WW2 aircraft. Guess we have a bit in common.

Regards, Rick

Welcome! I too am of welsh ancestry... many years back I am sure, my father has had trouble tracing back his family's genealogy too far...

I went from 1/72 WWII aircraft in my past modeling life, to 1/48 at present... and wont go back! the details are astounding on some aircraft and as my eyes get older they thank me for the bigger scale!

We have a Battle of Britain Group Build about to start in January (located in the group builds section of course) mostly a few yanks, a BUNCH of Aussies and a few from the UK... we would feel priviledged if you stopped by to say hi!

---edit---

oh.... and a Canadian as well! Wink [;)]

First, Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forum taffy. There appears to be a lot of Welsh Ancestory around here, myself included tho' a couple of generations removed. I also stick to 1/72 WWII aircraft but have branched out into WWII armor and ships from time to time. I also do the occasional 1/32 WWII fighter.

tho9900 I take exception to the fact you left out the lone Canadian in your list for the Battle of Britain GB. Disapprove [V] Just Kidding!!

Seriously though, do stop by the Group Build Thread for the Battle of Britain and sign up for a fun building experience. Don't be intimidated by this bunch of styrene freaks, I've found them to be quite friendly and very helpful.

Some people say that 1/72 is for people who don't want to detail things...we all know it is for the future blind.

Welcome.
