Welcome!!! yeah they'll be able to answer anything you throw at them there... but without an airbrush I would probably go for a splinter pattern with properly thinned paint... you could use a spray can of the appropriate color (if you find one) as the base coat...

Wow this looks like a great forum and community. Very informative. I am totally new to this, (used to butcher kits as a kid) and my interest is in military aircraft. I want to focus on WW2, Korea, and some Vietnam era models. Oh and dont forget Cold War Migs.

My father was an Marine jet engine mechanic in Vietnam and I would like to build some nice pieces for him in the future. I believe Intruder A-6, A-4's if I remember correctly. But first I need to learn the skills.

I dont have an airbrush, might buy something later if I get the bug bad enough. No equip yet but have some ideas from your post.

I picked up a Revell Messerchmitt Me-109G 1:48 scale. Looks like a good kit but what do I know? LOL. Anyway my worry is painting camo without an airbrush? Any ideas would be helpful or maybe I need to start a first piece thats more basic in paint scheme.
Any sugguestions would be really appreciated. Meanwhile back to reading your post. ThanksBig Smile [:D]
