The Beautiful Vultee Model R-48

Hello to everyone!! I'm brand new in this community and have been building wooden scale WWII Fighters for some time now. If anyone has any technical drawings or good reference material on the R-48 Vultee Vanguard, I would greatly appreciate anything you might want to sell, or any leads you may have to get this information. This aircraft was unique in that the Vultee engineers put a elongated cowling on a radial-engined prototype in an effort to acheive a "Streamlined" effect. Engine cooling problems doomed the project, and Vultee ended up with a standard radial cowl which resulted in the P-66. It's amazing that no plastic or wooden model company to my knowledge has ever kitted this aircraft. Anyhow, I'm glad to be part of this community, have read Finescale Modeler Mag for years, and would be happy to share my aviation reference knowledge with any of you modeler's out there. After all, are'nt we the best???
