Just thought I'd introduce myself.
I live in Townsville which is in north Queensland, a state of Australia.
I have been modelling seriously for about 12 months, I find the hobby very relaxing and enjoy the social nature of the modelling community. I am at the stage of modelling anything, but seem to be gravitating to early jets (not sure why yet !). My primary interest is getting the model to the stage of 'looking' cool but not necessairly correct. I guess one day I will take the next step and become consumed with the research stuff!
I have just brought my first airbrush and am looking forward to developing the necessary skills, although I am a little nervous about filling it with paint and spraying for the first time. I think that a bit of practice on plastic film may be the go in the begining! Any words of wisdom here would be appreciated.
I am treasurer of our small regional modelling club, Townsville Scale Modelling Club (TSMC), so anyone coming this way please look us up on the web.
