Welcome, from a downstater who wishes he were an upstater.

Whatever happened to the Hobbytown that used to be on Wolf Road? I heard it was gone.

newbe/ Great Republic
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 3:24 PM
Hi from Albany, NY. I am a relative newbe to modeling. New in that I used to do it as a kid.... many years ago and loved it. I am ready to relearn all I have forgotten!

My grandfater made a 1:10 scale model of the Great Republic from sctatch and plans. I have inherited it, but it looks like it has been through a war. So, I am looking for any information on ship rebuilding, finding plans, etc. I know this is not an overnight project and am beginning with researching the ship and learning what not to do....Smile [:)].

Any suggestion on how to procede would be appreciated.

Thanks, Bob aka macguy
